Our Mission
Atelier Sillage LLC is an independent, research-based studio dedicated to exploring how artworks can be translated into contemporary jewelry, objects, and educational experiences through the combined lens of art history, craftsmanship, and emerging technology.
This project aims not only to create original designs but also to investigate how the material culture embedded in visual art can be preserved, reinterpreted, and shared with broader audiences through collaboration with museums, galleries, and academic institutions.
To ensure both scholarly rigor and design innovation, the project is divided into several structured phases:
Artwork Selection & Research
Careful evaluation of artworks across different periods and cultures, focusing on material, texture, and motif.
Academic research into the historical and cultural significance of these visual and material details, ensuring each design begins with a solid interpretive foundation.
Design Development & Prototyping
Using AI-driven algorithms and digital modeling to translate selected visual elements into jewelry and accessory concepts.
Integrating traditional jewelry-making techniques and metalwork processes to produce prototypes that balance innovation with craftsmanship.
Production & Finalization
Refining prototypes into finished pieces, ensuring durability, wearability, and design coherence.
Collaborating with artisans or specialized workshops if needed to achieve technical precision.
Exhibition & Public Engagement
Presenting completed works in curated displays that highlight the dialogue between historical art and contemporary design.
Exploring opportunities to collaborate with museums and galleries, integrating these works into curatorial narratives about material culture, heritage, and technology.
